#7 Every English language comedy show in and around Amsterdam this week (May 6 - May 12)
Halil Caliskan brings his Edinburgh show home. Plus Luana Matei, Deirdre O'Kane, David Nihill, and a Thursday so packed it should be illegal.
Welcome to issue #7 of The Live List - your weekly round-up of every English-language comedy show happening in and near Amsterdam.
As Amsterdam readjusts after the high of Conan O’Brien’s guest appearance at Boom Chicago last Saturday night, there’s lots to look forward to this week, and to start booking for the rest of a comedy-packed May.
So if you’re looking for excuses to get out of the house, to arrange to meet friends, and generally have a great time, look no further.
And if you find this newsletter useful, I'd really appreciate you sharing it with one other person who might like it too.
Thank you. Now read on to find out what’s happening this week:
Halil Caliskan did his Edinburgh Fringe debut, took the show to Barcelona, and is now bringing it back where it belongs: a proper intimate Amsterdam room. Homesick is 75 minutes of English-language stand-up about all the things that feeling means, in a city full of people who know exactly what he’s talking about. Patron Stage shows at Le Flaneur punch above their weight every single time, and this one looks no different. Get there early, the room fills fast. Pop-up cocktail bar from 7pm.
