#1 Every English language comedy show in Amsterdam this week (Weds 25 – Tues 31 March)
Because I'm tired of finding out about great shows after they've happened.
This is the first ever issue of The Live List — one email, every week, with every English-language comedy show happening in and near Amsterdam.
I’m Adam, a fledgling on the Amsterdam international comedy scene. I started The Live List because finding out what’s on each week shouldn’t require using Facebook, following 15 Instagram accounts and three WhatsApp groups.
Here’s what’s happening this week:
Derek Mitchell: Double Dutch

The brilliant character comedian behind @letsdoubledutch has spent years documenting the beautiful absurdity of life in the Netherlands to hundreds of thousands of followers, and now he’s created another full live hour. This is the show where the expats in the room will be nodding and the Dutch will be genuinely unsure whether to laugh or be offended. Either way, everyone leaves with something.
